CD盤！オクラホマ出身4ピースDREAM-POPバンドMAD HONEYによる1stアルバムがDeathwish Incからリリース！Sunday Drive Recordsからのカセットで話題になり一挙にDeathwishから陽の目を浴びる存在になった注目株！90年代初頭のLUSH, MY BLOODY VALENTINEといったバンドの影響を根底にモダンインディーロックの流れ、メランコリックでCHILLなサウンドが凄くいいです。シューゲイズフィルターに通したバック隊のサウンディングに漂うボーカル。Deathwish Incからのリリースというのも意味は強いです。ドリームポップ、シューゲイズ、インディロック、グリッターロックと多角的なサウンドを完璧なまでに一つにまとめ上げたEMOTIONALな一枚。波の音から始まる 鎌倉 という曲も最高です。鎌倉市の七里ヶ浜辺り馴染み深い人は是非チェックすべしですね。DIIV, BEACH HOUSEといった流れが好きな人にも！
