マーガレットハウエルのコットンパンツ。
春・夏・秋と使えるよいパンツです。
一見すると何の変哲も無いパンツなのですが、それゆえの使いやすさがあり、多用しておりました。この辺りのプレーンなアイテムだと、ユニクロで代替できるのでは？という疑問が出てくるところです。
このパンツはコットン100%の素朴な素材使いであり、ストレートシルエット、そして腰回りのエレガントさで差が生じています。特にユニクロはビジネスウェア以外はあまり腰回りを攻めない傾向にあるので、ビジネスウェアのスマートさと、カジュアルさを兼ね備えたハイブリッドなところがこのパンツの良さです。
元々はグレーの均一なトーンのパンツであり、綺麗に履くパンツであるだけあって、
シルエットはストンと落ち、スッとした立ち姿になります。
イタリアのジャケットで締めて着用したり、いまは色褪せが出てきたので、ヴィンテージウェアと解釈して、昔のものと合わせて着用しておりました。
明るい色のニットを合わせても素敵です。
ミリタリーパンツに飽きてきた方にもお勧めします。
